The most beautiful 14 places on Rapa Nui according to us are the following:
large crater offering picturesque views... it is filled with water and green vegetation,
this is where the rock for the statues was extracted; there are almost 400 statues on the outer perimeter of the volcano; inside the crater water reserves can be found and small swamp-like parts. a ceremonial village where interesting houses and walls can be seen. beautiful beach with sand and palm trees nearby, you can cool down there and also check out a number of nearby moai sites.
a great place to see the ocean with a gigantic almost vertical cliff behind the moai ahu... very beautiful moai site, great statues with interesting topknots on their heads! complex of moai statues not far from the town of Hanga Roa not far from Hanga Roa, interesting stone walls can be seen here, another "must see site". a beautiful ahu site with 7 moai on it a cave located close to the town, make sure you see it, interesting ancient wall paintings can be found inside... of course, you will arrive here and also leave from here, but take the time to look around and have some fun! for the sight, you should see it... scattered boulders extracted from the Puna Pau quarry, reddish grounds, green hills around and trees...
beautiful colours, eroded land with reddish sand and high cliffs (dangerous!) offer a beautiful view to the visitor who wanders here... it is interesting at Cape Roggeveen and Cape Cumming, ... a great place for taking photos!
